An impressive first half display began with Ellis opening up the scoring with a confident run and finish from the left side. His second goal was a poachers finish which VAR may have declared marginally offside. An early rush of blood to the head saw Will in goal go up for a corner a la Peter Schmeichel and bagged an assist early on.
Max with two today, a calm left foot finish and a header which I’m not sure he knew much about (they all count). A typical run and powerful drive from Oliver was another highlight. The opposition struggled to cope with his pace and directness and he was also disciplined in defence. Calum moved the ball very calmly under pressure to start off attacks and was a rock in goal. George was very quick to win the ball back and everyone got on the score sheet today.
