Chester le Street United U13 Whites had a comfortable 9 – 1 win in their first home game of the season. Trailing thanks to a fine finish in the wrong goal from Jonny Buckton(!) the whites created chance after chance only to be spurned thanks a fine display from the opposition keeper.
Logan Newton did eventually get us back level when he drilled one into the far corner. Moments later Ben Cummings put Chester 2 – 1 up when he volleyed home from the edge of the area following good work down the left from Matty Gill.
